Art is a medium to express a yearning of who I am and what I can be: moments worth immortalizing and visualizing dreams.

The work is comprised of a series of visual experimentations in different mediums inspired by my experiences and ideas since moving to New York City.

With my work, I strive to find affinity through the exploration of different visual languages and tools to convey my imagination or translate life into art.

About

Hi there, my name is Richie from Singapore. I'm an artist and designer based in New York City working in the tech and entertainment industry.

After serving a 2-year enlistment in the Singapore Armed Forces, I moved to New York City to major in industrial design at Pratt Institute, graduating with honors. Influenced by old masters, film, and new technologies, I enjoy painting in varying styles that include computer illustrations, a way to discover new experiences while understanding the world around me.

In 2017, I became a member of the Art Students League that serves as a studio space to paint. Residing in New York City, Pratt Institute and Art Students League have led me to a life of expression in search of visions filled with hope and beauty with a growing community of creatives.
